Bankruptcy and how it appears on credit report?

My girlfriend and her husband are considering on filing Bankruptcy, but wanted to know exactly how it appears on their credit report? He already has a Foreclosure, Repossesion and countless of other delinquencies.Anyway, when he files for Chapter 7 will all those deliquent accounts be removed and the only thing appears on the report would be BANKRUPTCY or will it still reflect those creditors in addition to Bankruptcy? I think it would but that’s just my guess anyway if anyone here has filed and saw how it’s reflecting on their report, please reply.

How to hold companies under bankruptcy protection accountable?

What prevents a company from borrowing a ton of money, spending it all, declaring bankruptcy, and never paying back its creditors?

Details: say the CEO gets a huge "salary" (this is actually borrowed money), buys himself a bunch of toys, then declares bankruptcy and never repays the money. What is the punishment for said CEO?

How long after a bankruptcy is discharged (finalized) does your credit report reflect that?

In other words, my bankruptcy was discharged at the end of March, when will the credit report relect which accounts were thrown out in the bankruptcy?

Thanks!
DAS: I know that the items stay on the credit report, but they will have a note indicating that the were included in the bankruptcy so that any future creditors can see that the debt is not outstanding.

How do I go about filing for bankruptcy, are there fees, and what are the pros and cons?

I am on limited income (Social Security Disability) and am in debt due to the actions of a former "friend" of mine. I am considering filing for bankruptcy to get the creditors off my back, and to start over fresh after a certain period of time has gone by (not sure how long that is; I’ve heard 7 years.) I am a responsible person when it comes to paying my bills on time, and the only reason why I’m in debt right now, is because I had trust in the wrong person.
Can you please tell me what process is involved in filing for bankruptcy, if there are any costs (are people who are on limited income, exempt from any fees), and what some pros and cons there are in filing for bankruptcy. Please be as specific as you can. Thank you.
